Mogg Deploys Artist Mobile Site to Boost Content Sales on Carrier's Deck

Artist Mobile Site Features Latest Album, Live Twitter Updates, User Sign Up, Video, Ringtone and Social Medial Sharing

As an independent artist, RJD2 has a strong followship. Carrier's decks are very limited in terms of promotional spaces and frequently, an Artist branded mobile site is the only way to promote the artist mobile content. The approach we took with RJD2 was to create a landing page for his content but instead of doing the content fullfillment, we decided to leverage his existing distribution channels. To download his music, we would feature deeplinks to his content on each carrier's deck. To watch his video, we would link to his YouTube channel.

  • Twitter Feed: The latest breaking news directly coming from the artist himself.
  • Download the Album page: A page with deeplinks into each carrier's deck to download RJD2 content. The most effective way to boost an artist sales on a carrier's deck.
  • Get a Free Ringtone : Incentive for RJD2 to sign up for mobile updates. User register his/her moile phone number in order to receive a SMS containing the link to download the free ringtone. A great way to to build a fanbase.
  • Videos: Video page sends the user to the artist's channel on YouTube. It also lets the user share the video on social networks (Facebook, Myspace, etc..)
  • Tell-a-Friend: Word of mouth is the killer app on mobile. This page offers a simple way to share the mobile site with friends.
